More fun than I expected!

My stay was unexpectedly delightful! The room was spacious and stylish, offering a comfortable bed and modern amenities. Located just minutes from Zocalo, the surroundings buzzed with life. The rooftop bar had an incredible ambiance, with delicious cocktails and stunning views. I genuinely felt welcomed by the accommodating staff during my visit.

The location is perfect, central to everything. The old colonial architecture is stunning, making for beautiful photos. The rooftop pool offers a nice escape, even if we didn’t dine up there. The staff, especially Erik at the concierge, was incredibly helpful. He arranged our tours and made dining reservations, enhancing our visit. I loved the outside patio for breakfast. the healthy options were a great way to start the day. However, the hot tub was cold, which was disappointing. Wi-Fi connectivity needs improvement. it was frustrating trying to plan anything from the room. The bed comfort could use a boost, as I didn’t get restful sleep. Noise from plumbing was noticeable too, which affected the tranquility we were hoping for. Overall, I enjoyed the stay but noted these areas for improvement.

We absolutely loved our stay, especially enjoying the stunning rooftop terrace and the cozy garden area for morning coffee. The hotel offers a nice outdoor pool and a relaxing jacuzzi, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The only downside was that some areas felt a bit dim, but it didn't really detract from our experience. 😊

The dim lighting throughout the hotel made it feel more like a bunker than a luxurious stay. In the King Room, both windows were tinted and couldn't be opened, limiting any outside views or light. Breakfast options were subpar. the complimentary offering was limited to stale pastries, minimal fruit, and a small yogurt cup, which felt inadequate given the overall price point. Additionally, the cold temperature in the hotel made for an uncomfortable stay, with no central heating available during chilly nights.

Conveniently located near museums and restaurants, it was easy to walk around and soak in the local culture.

Umbral, Curio Collection By Hilton is beautifully decorated with chic, modern furnishings and lovely lighting that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly helpful, making each request for assistance feel like a priority.

Better signage and accessibility for senior guests.

Lovely hotel, lovely location, with modern amenities including a fitness center and outdoor heated pool, just 0.5 km from Zocalo and a short drive to the airport.

The hotel was uncomfortably cold without heating!!! Receptionists wearing jackets is a red flag!!! The pool is tiny, not suitable for laps, and the restaurant lacked wine options. There's a dire need for better signage for senior guests!!!

The King Guest Room was super comfy with a clean vibe. The bed was really soft, and you couldn't hear any street noise at all, which was awesome. High windows let in natural light without feeling like anyone could see in. Enjoyed the modern amenities too. Just a pleasant stay overall!
